This Privacy Policy explains what information Missile Command 1980 ("the game", "we", "our") collects and how it is handled.
The game is published by BellsebossStudio and is available as:
- A free WebGL arcade game in the browser (prototype build).
- A free Android build (APK) distributed on itch.io.
- A planned release on the Google Play Store.
1. Information We Collect
Today: We Collect No Personal Data
As of the effective date above, Missile Command 1980 does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:
- No accounts — there is no login, registration, or user profile system.
- No analytics — we do not use analytics SDKs, trackers, or crash reporting services that collect personal data.
- No advertising — the game contains no third-party ads.
- No location data — we do not access or request your device location.
- No purchase or payment data — the game is free and contains no in-app purchases.
- No contact or address book data — we do not access your contacts or device files.
Your gameplay session stays entirely on your device.
2. PlayFab SDK Removed — Fully Offline
The PlayFab SDK and all PlayFab service code (player login, cloud saves, virtual currency) have been completely removed from the game. The project no longer contains the SDK or any code path that could contact PlayFab's servers.
The game is fully offline. It does not transmit any data outside your device. Your gameplay session stays entirely on your device.
3. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game has no user accounts, chat, messaging, or any feature that would require personal data from players of any age. It is designed to be COPPA-friendly: no registration, no data collection, and no targeted advertising.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address in Section 6 and we will delete it promptly.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing to share.
The only third-party services involved are the platforms that distribute the game (web hosting, itch.io, and the Google Play Store). These platforms operate under their own privacy policies.
5. Data Security
Since no personal data is collected, there is no user data stored on our servers to protect. If data collection is added in the future, this section will be updated to describe the security measures in place.
